How can I register with Penryn Surgery ?

If you are new to the area please register with us as soon as possible. You can either come into the practice on Saracen Way in Penryn and register or you can download an Online Registration form.

Does Penryn Surgery offer any special services for students?

There are bookable doctor appointments held Monday to Friday at the Ground Floor of the Annexe opposite the stannary.

We provide the following campus clinics during term time:
Monday 8.30-11.30
Tuesday 8.30-11.30
Wednesday 15.00-17.00
Thursday 15.00-17.00
Friday 8.30-11.30

Book online via the SystemOnline app available free from Apple App Store and Android Google Play. To register for on-line booking, please come to the main surgery in Penryn town with some photo ID.

Where is the nearest pharmacy?

The nearest pharmacy to Penryn Campus is Hendra’s Pharmacy, 57 Market Street, Penryn TR10 8BH (01326 373537). There is also a pharmacy at The Penryn Surgery.

The pharmacist can provide advice on minor ailments and travel. They can provide emergency contraception, and antibiotics for cystitis, impetigo and conjunctivitis without the need for you to see a doctor. If you need treatment for cystitis it is helpful if you can take a urine sample with you. If needed, you can see the pharmacist in private.

Do I need to pay for prescriptions?

Prescribed contraceptives are free. You may be able to get your other prescriptions for free through the “NHS Low Income Scheme”. For more information on prescription charges, the NHS Low Income Scheme and to order the HC1 form which you need to fill in if you want to use the scheme go to:

How can I let the surgery know about a change of address?

Please let us know as soon as possible about a change of address. The easiest way is to do this is online. Go to the change of address page.
